In her most recent video, she shares how washing white towels with a specific blend of household items could restore their crisp, fresh feel.

Launching into the process, Hida first filled up a sizable vessel with tepid water (she notes a bathtub does the trick too), dunked the towels completely, then stirred in a liberal dose of washing soda (about half a cup or 100g), capped off with a splash of Pink Stuff Oxi Powder.

Donning rubber gloves to protect her hands, she pressed down on the towels gently to ensure everything mixed well, before allowing them to settle in the concoction for a minimum of one hour. Post-soak, it was time for the washing machine in went the towels along with the usual detergent and an addition of white vinegar into the dispenser.

Then came the final touch, as advised by Hida in the video: "Wash the towels on a hot cycle." And she suggested a time-saving twist: "You can also skip the soaking part if you just want a quick refresh for your towels - then just add baking soda to your washing machine drum and white vinegar to the fabric softener compartment and run a hot cycle."

Her video closed with her showcasing impressive results that made her towels look as good as new. In response to how much white vinegar should be used, Hida added: "About 1/2 cup. Depends on how full the machine is but this time I only had a couple of towels."

"I need to buy this asap!" exclaimed an admirer of Hida's approach. Another fan wrote: "Love your hacks!" Whilst a third professed: "Fluffy towels is such a vibe."
